Maybe it's doing these weekly updates that causes the months to feel as if they are flying by, because I yet again find myself tempted to remark upon how we are already down to just a week and a half remaining in February. Regardless, here we are with another weekly writing update.
Weekly Writing Update
Not every week brings colossal progress, and this week felt slow when it comes to writing. I would be hard-pressed to give you a specific reason for this, but in fairness I did accomplish some work.
Weekly Writing Update
I pushed out another five thousand words or so on Impressions this week, putting me a little past halfway on chapter 5.
New Project: Impressions
After careful consideration, I’m finally ready to announce what my main project for 2023 is going to be.
Weekly Writing Update
Much less progress to report this week, mostly because my writing time went primarily towards trying to get my submission for January's Elegant Literature contest into some kind of halfway decent shape. That would be less frustrating if the effort was successful, but it was not.
Weekly Writing Update
I'm still struggling with how to rewrite the idea I have for January's Elegant Literature contest. I've now tried it as epistolary, as an in-world artifact, and as a traditional narrative, so we'll see what I come up with to try next week.
Weekly Writing Update
I have been challenged. Specifically, I have been challenged by my wife to write a funny story involving a wizard who enslaves people with bread. We'll see how I do with Lord of the Levain.
Weekly Writing Update
With Blood Magic finished, I am moving onto a new project. The official announcement will come near the end of January, but I'm not waiting until then to start writing.
Blood Magic S3:E12: Balancing Act, Part Two Release
Did I do it? Did I stick the landing on this three-year series, some three hundred sixty thousand words of story? Only you, dear reader, can answer that question, but I think I might have done it.
Blood Magic S2:E12: Pifecha, Part Two Re-Release
It might sound from those two paragraphs like I don't think this story is any good, which is not true - it is quite enjoyable, for all my above griping and critiquing.
