Week of 11 December to 17 December
Although I did not finish Blood Magic in time for last week’s update, that was a matter of barely, because I finished the final five thousand words on Monday. I’ll be doing revisions for Balancing Act, Part Two this week, and with that, Blood Magic will be officially complete.
I don’t intend to do a lot of other writing before the new year – some short story work, perhaps, or essays – but I did begin working on a new outline for Impressions, which will be next year’s main project. You know I don’t do rigorous outlines, but I’m attempting to create brief summaries like I did for the Blood Magic episodes. Plus, I need to revise and submit my short story for December’s Elegant Literature competition, on which I’ve received some helpful feedback.
You have a post about the idea of the silk slippers of history for this week coming up, and a review for The Inklings. After that, we’re closing in on the end of the year. Somehow.
