Author: lloydearickson

Lloyd Earickson is the founder and author behind IGC Publishing, host to his Blood Magic short story series, now in its third season. Since he began taking his writing seriously in 2016, he has drafted three novels and dozens of short stories and novellas, including several available through IGC Publishing. A professional astronautical engineer with an insatiable curiosity, Lloyd’s writing, like his work on spacecraft, seeks to explore all regions of space and time.

The Way to Wealth Review

If "folk philosophy" was a genre, it is where I would shelve The Way to Wealth, which is essentially a short collection of the best snippets of advice and clever nuggets of wisdom published over the years in Franklin’s own Poor Richard’s Almanac.

Good Omens Season 2 Reflections

Emerald Eyes Review

Aside from the fact that Moran clearly overestimated our pace of technological progress, the technology, society, and concepts featured and explored manage to feel nearly as speculative now as they must have then.

Testing AI, Students, 3

The proposed Weizenbaum test is so lacking in structure, objectivity, rigor, and specificity as to not even define what the grading scale or reference answers would be.

Laurus Review

If you are fascinated by faith, and constantly inquiring of history, like I am, then Laurus deserves a place near the top of your reading list.

Definition, Abstraction, and Language’s Limitation

Where I asserted that abstractions result in language’s limitations, my brother argued that language’s limitations cause its abstractions.
